Free bespoke 1:1 business support to help you plan for the future.

Following the lifting of all Covid-19 measures on the 24th of February, Stay Safe, Stay Open is offering small businesses in Hertfordshire access to a range of free support to help you transition to living with Covid.

Experienced, personable, industry experts will run through the ‘customer journey’, providing practical business planning, operational, communications and training advice. The in-depth 1:1 sessions literally get into the corners of your business to provide practical advice and guidance across a range of different areas from reviewing risk assessments to staff well-being.

As a business, you will have already spent time, effort, and money on making your premises as safe as possible for staff and customers. Maintaining vigilance and providing the best experience for your customers equips you with a positive sales message which will give your consumers the confidence to visit.

The following support is free to access for eligible businesses in Hertfordshire and is delivered in partnership with Hertfordshire Growth Hub, Better Business for All, Visit Herts and Local Authorities.

The visits could bring the following benefits to your business:

  • improved business performance
  • identify opportunities for improved customer experience
  • benchmark your business against best practice
  • more resilient business plan
  • confidence that your risk assessment and mitigation measures you have in place will keep staff and customers safe
  • improved recruitment and staff retention
  • streamlined customer communications, increased spend and repeat business

The support is delivered by expert advisors from M Assessments who are able to provide industry-specific advice and best practice built up through years of running advisory visits, quality schemes and mystery shopping visits across the country. The friendly informal sessions can be either delivered face to face, virtually or a mix of both and the 8 hours can be split over a series of sessions depending on how much support is needed.

This support is available for businesses with up to 50 employees in certain sectors with premises in Hertfordshire.
